Abstract: 

Workforce diversity is a new asset for organizations which has been resulted from the increasing globalization. Workforce diversity presents different mental models to organizations; if managed well will produce new ideas, KNOWLEDGE CREATION and innovation. This article reports the findings of a research project which examines how workforce diversity’s management relates to the KNOWLEDGE CREATION process in higher education system. Data were collected from a questionnaire. Using stratified random sampling, 132 faculties were selected and asked to answer the questions. The findings indicate that workforce diversity has a positive impact on KNOWLEDGE CREATION in higher education system. Additionally, KNOWLEDGE CREATION can be enhanced by an effective management in these institutions.

Abstract: 

Objective: The main weakness of the previous models in the domain of ORGANIZATIONAL KNOWLEDGE CREATION is the failure to consider psychological aspect of people and information technology. Based on the theoretical literature on KNOWLEDGE management, if consider individuals, processes and information technology as major elements for KNOWLEDGE management and CREATION, so KNOWLEDGE CREATION process requires considering the psychological aspect of those who create new KNOWLEDGE and also considering information technology, which is instrumental in shaping and implementing the KNOWLEDGE CREATION process. In KNOWLEDGE-based firms of Iran which the activities is based on specialized KNOWLEDGE and advanced technology, there is an urgent need to consider cognitive and technological aspects governing these firms to provide appropriate developed model. Therefore the main objective of this research is to develop the ORGANIZATIONAL KNOWLEDGE CREATION model for KNOWLEDGE-based firms of Iran. For this purpose two theories have been used; Task-Technology Fit and THEORY of Planned behavior. These theories study the fitness between ORGANIZATIONAL tasks and existing technologies in mentioned firms. Moreover understanding the psychological aspects of people who influence the KNOWLEDGE CREATION process is considered. Methodology: This paper deals with the content analysis of texts that examines the application of two theories in the fields of psychology and information technology to develop the ORGANIZATIONAL KNOWLEDGE CREATION model through analyzing and integrating the dimensions of the theories. Findings: KNOWLEDGE-based firms need to pay particular attention to the cognitive factors of individuals and their behavioral intentions in discussing participation in the four stages of KNOWLEDGE CREATION in order to optimize their major goals, including the effective use of existing KNOWLEDGE and the CREATION of new KNOWLEDGE. Also considering the fit of business processes with the technologies used can facilitate their activities and accelerate them, since the structure of creating KNOWLEDGE-based firms is based on competitiveness, innovation and up-to-date technology in the field of related specialized KNOWLEDGE, that all are facilitated through technologies. Conclusion: KNOWLEDGE-based firms need to pay particular attention to the cognitive factors of individuals and their behavioral intentions in discussing participation in the four stages of KNOWLEDGE CREATION in order to optimize their major goals, such as making effective use of existing KNOWLEDGE and creating new KNOWLEDGE. Abstract: 

In spite of increasing importance of KNOWLEDGE as the most strategic resource of organization there is a deep gap in understanding the contexts and components of "KNOWLEDGE CREATION" and its effects on organization performance. Specially, there is a considerable weakess inability for using quantitative modeling techniques in this new realm. Considering these weaknesses, this study was performed with the aim of determining the grounds for "KNOWLEDGE CREATION process" in higher education system for constructing appropriate Model. The participants of this survey were 362 members of higher education system in the public and private sections (e.g. Azad University) who were randomly by selected stratified sampling. The tool of measurement was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by SPSS software that included the methods of descriptive statistics, factor analysis, multivariable regression and Path analysis. Foundings indicate that the "KNOWLEDGE CREATION" abilities consist of KNOWLEDGE base, absorptive capacity learning, unlearning, care, collaboration, networking, alliance, combination, architectual innovation and problem solving of higher education, based on these abilities were the KNOWLEDGE CREATION context model in higher education system can be constructed.

Abstract: 

INTRODUCTION: Due to the limited current KNOWLEDGE about the appropriate trainings for the improvement of competence in military nurses, it seems necessary to use the processes of creating and sharing KNOWLEDGE to fill the gap between the current KNOWLEDGE and the required one. Therefore, this research has searched for the pattern of ORGANIZATIONAL KNOWLEDGE CREATION in military nursing education. METHODS: The research was conducted using the meta-synthesis method (thematic analysis), and the findings were systematically reviewed based on the seven-step pattern of Sandelowski, Barroso and Voils (2007). For this purpose, 348 articles were reviewed, and finally, 33 articles were confirmed by referring to valid and accessible documents of the sites. FINDINGS: The network of extracted themes was identified as an eight-component pattern including team-oriented approach, individual factors, managerial factors, technological factors, communication factors, ORGANIZATIONAL policy, implementation of KNOWLEDGE CREATION process, and ORGANIZATIONAL culture. CONCLUSION: The implementation of KNOWLEDGE CREATION leads to the promotion of military nursing education and, as a result, to the improvement of military nurses performance. To this end, factors such as culture building, using the KNOWLEDGE of experienced nurses, past successful experiences and updating systems with new information technology tools are effective in creating KNOWLEDGE. This approach can be an influential factor in advancing the scientific and practical goals of the commanders regarding the CREATION of KNOWLEDGE and reducing the waste of time and financial resources.
